Polyurethane dash kits

Polyurethane is a high performance, ultraviolet and flame resistant encapsulation resin based on urethane technology using a polybutadiene based polyol.
Polyurethane absorbs stress not letting it penetrate into underlying materials. Polyurethane remains flexible under extreme temperatures and thus does not require heating prior to installation.

Veneerz is the only manufacturer in north America that uses polyurethane on all of its dash kits. Beware of false advertisement ,polyurethane is a very expensive material and Internet mom's and pop's sites simply do not have enough volume to cover expenses. Most manufacturers use epoxy coating on all of their products. Be sure to check the validity of a claim before purchasing from a company that claims to use polyurethane. Here is why:

To demonstrate the effectiveness of polyurethane we left two identical aluminum pieces outside, exposed to direct sunlight for 6 days.
Can you spot the difference?
Inside the car the change will not be so dramatic in such a short period of time, but as the kit ages, this is exactly what will happen.

Comparing polyurethande coated dash kits vs. epoxy coated dash kits

  • Average lifespan of epoxy coated kit is 2 years, where our kits will last a life time
  • Exposed to sun epoxy lets UV rays though and thus turns yellowish in color and allows underlying materials to loose its color depth and saturation
  • In heat and cold epoxy expands and contracts. This causes dash kits to detach from surface and epoxy to crack.
